What is Creator Reviews?

Creator Reviews (Beta) is a GetYourGuide program that helps you collect reviews for new or under-reviewed activities. Once you join, your experience becomes available to our Creator Community of travel bloggers, local experts, and travel agents. If they choose it, they experience it like any other traveler and submit an honest, detailed review with photos within 48 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is it really free?

Joining the program is free. You cover the operating cost of one booking (up to 2 spots). The same cost as running the activity for any paying customer.

  • Who are GetYourGuide's travel creators?

They're members of our Travel Partner Community of seasoned travelers —content creators, travel bloggers, and travel agents. They pick your activity because it interests them, and their reviews often focus on what travelers actually want to know before booking. They are asked to share honest feedback about your activity.

  • Can I opt out?

Yes, any time before a booking is confirmed.

  • How many reviews can I get?

One per activity. The program is designed to get you over the cold-start threshold, not to replace organic reviews.

  • Will travelers know it's a Creator Review?

Yes. Reviews are labeled "Travel Partner Tested" on your activity page, so the source of the review is transparent.

  • What if the creator leaves a negative review?

Creator reviews are honest. We work with creators who are motivated to write fair, thoughtful reviews based on their real experience. Credible, detailed feedback is exactly what makes travelers trust the reviews on your page in the first place. And if a review breaks our review guidelines, you can flag it, same as any other review on GetYourGuide, or you can respond to it directly in the Supplier Portal.

  • Which activities are eligible?

Activities with fewer than 3 reviews and a minimum group size of 1, bookable within the next 7 days.

  • Am I guaranteed to get a booking from a creator?

No. Creators choose the activity that fits their travel plans and interests, so having great content, photos, and extensive availability still matter.

  • Will the creator post about my activity on social media?

No. Creators don’t commit to posting content on their own channels. Their commitment is to leave a review on your activity page.
